Welcome to The Country Name Game, LLC. These Terms and Conditions govern your access to and use of our website (the 'Site'), our mobile applications (the 'App'), and all related services (collectively, the 'Services').
1. Use of the Site
You agree to use this Site and the App only for lawful purposes and in accordance with these Terms. You must be at least 18 years old or have permission from a parent or legal guardian to use the Site or make purchases.
If a minor plays the game, their parent, guardian, or authorized educator agrees to these terms on their behalf.
A parent or legal guardian must supervise account creation or leaderboard participation for minors.
2. Intellectual Property
All content on the Site and the App, including the Country Name Game name, logo, designs, graphics, images, text, videos, and other materials, is the intellectual property of The Country Name Game, LLC, and is protected by copyright, trademark, and other laws. You may not reproduce, distribute, or use any content without our express written permission.
3. Product Purchases
By purchasing a product on our Site, you agree to provide accurate, complete, and current billing and shipping information. Prices are listed in U.S. dollars unless stated otherwise. We reserve the right to change product pricing or availability at any time without notice.
Digital purchases, unlocks, and billing are processed directly through third-party platform stores (Apple App Store / Google Play Store) and are subject to their respective terms and payment conditions.
Third-party providers process all payments securely. The Country Name Game, LLC is not responsible for errors or issues caused by the payment processors.
4. Shipping and Returns
We strive to ship products promptly. Shipping times may vary by location. Please see our Shipping & Returns Policy for full details. If you receive a damaged or defective product, contact us within 14 days of delivery.
5. Refund Policy
Refunds are available under certain conditions as described in our Refund Policy. We reserve the right to decline refunds for misuse or abuse of our products.
In-app purchases are consumed/activated immediately upon purchase. Note that refunds for digital goods purchased via iOS or Android are handled exclusively by Apple or Google in accordance with their respective refund policies (since you cannot initiate an App Store refund on Apple’s behalf).
App users can restore previously purchased non-consumable content using the in-app "Restore Purchases" feature tied to their Apple ID or Google Play account.
6. Limitation of Liability
To the maximum extent permitted by law, The Country Name Game, LLC shall not be liable for any indirect, incidental, or consequential damages arising from your use of the Site, the App, or purchase of our products or services. All products and services are provided “as is” without warranties of any kind unless explicitly stated.
7. User Accounts and Submissions
If you create an account or submit content (e.g., reviews, comments, or images), you grant us a non-exclusive, royalty-free, worldwide license to use, display, and share that content. We reserve the right to remove or refuse any content we deem inappropriate.
8 End-User Mobile App License
Users have a revocable, non-exclusive, non-transferable, limited license to download, install, and use the app solely for personal, non-commercial (or educational classroom) use on devices they own or control.
Reverse-engineering, decompiling, scraping trivia/riddle databases, attempting to extract the Flutter source code, or using unauthorized bots/scripts to alter leaderboard scores are prohibited.
9. Leaderboards, Multiplayer, & User Conduct
Users may not create offensive, hateful, or infringing display names.
Exploiting bugs, automated trivia answering, or tampering with leaderboard data will result in immediate disqualification, removal from leaderboards, and account termination without refund.
The Country Name game reserves the absolute right to reset scores, remove handles, or restrict multiplayer access for users who violate fair play guidelines.
10. Third-Party Links
Our Site may contain links to third-party websites. We are not responsible for their content, policies, or practices and encourage you to review their terms before engaging with them.
11. Third-Party Mapping & Geolocation APIs
Map functionality is powered by the Google Maps Platform, and by using map features, users agree to be bound by the Google Maps/Google Earth Additional Terms of Service and Google’s Privacy Policy.
While we strive for geographic and historical accuracy, border maps, flag representations, and geopolitical information are for educational and entertainment purposes and do not represent political or legal border determinations.
12. App Availability & Software Updates
The Country name game may release mandatory or optional app updates (via App Store/Google Play), and certain app features may require updating to the latest software version to function properly.
Some features (leaderboards, multiplayer matchmaking, dynamic maps) require an active internet connection.
13. Termination
We reserve the right to terminate or suspend your access to the Site at any time and without notice if we believe you have violated these Terms or engaged in inappropriate conduct.
14. Changes to These Terms
We may update these Terms from time to time. When we do, we will revise the “Effective Date” at the top of this page. Your continued use of the Site and App constitutes acceptance of any updates.
15. Governing Law
These Terms are governed by and construed in accordance with the laws of the State of North Carolina, United States, without regard to its conflict of law provisions.
